Join us for a Kidical Mass in Edinburgh – children from across the city cycling in support of safer infrastructure.
We will meet at Harrison Park for 2pm. There will be a briefing before we set off. We will ride to the Meadows with marshals and music. Junctions will be ‘blocked off’ by the marshals – if you have ever been to a Critical Mass ride, you will know how this works. Police officers will also be in attendance (on cycles of course).
This weekend will see Kidical Mass rides happening all across Europe as families demand child-friendly cities and cycle-friendly cities. Kidical Mass Rides are designed to be inclusive for all ages and abilities. The rides are fun, safe environments for families and friends to cycle together. Kidical Mass rides highlight the need for safe, segregated routes that enable children to walk, scoot, wheel and cycle in their neighbourhoods.
